SUMMARY: Grant for life by Walter Abbot, lord of Wasfeild (Devon), to Juliana Bike, daughter of John Byke, of the curtilage which formerly Robert atte Wille held in the grantor's demesne of Wasfeild and 1 acre of land in Beaufitz Cropft bounds given. Given at Wasfeild on Thursday next after the Translation of St. Thomas the Archbishop, 11 Edward III.

WITNESSES: Richard de la Weorthe, Thomas Canrigge, John Welbelond (sic), William de la Stantere, Adam de la Stantere. Indenture, with 1 seal (2 cm.) of brown wax, pendant on a tag, fragmentary.

SUMMARY: Grant by Hugh Beauchamp and Joan his wife to Walter Baker and Cecilia his wife of a meadow called Tounemede in the parish of Waysfeld (Devon) for the life of the said Cecilia at a yearly rent of 57s. and a heriot at her death, the oaks and ashes round the close of the said meadow being excepted. Given at Waysfeld, Monday next after the feast of the Invention of the Holy Cross, 7 Richard II.

WITNESSES: Robert Worthe, Nicholas Boys, Ralph Passemer, John Welbelovd, Robert Valwerigg and Adam atte Pitte. Indenture, with 2 seals (2 cm. @) pendant on 1 tag, both bearing a device: a standing bishop.
